Eligibility:   This event is open to beach catamarans 21 feet LOA or smaller. Boats must have an assigned US Sailing Portsmouth Handicap and are encouraged to conform to their Class Association rules. Any deviations of boat, crew or equipment from class configuration must be identified at registration.
Classes:   Any Hobie Cat class in attendance will be afforded a one-design start unless agreed between race management and the Hobie Cat registrant that participation in an open-format would be preferred. Any non-Hobie Cat class fielding a minimum of four (4) boats will also be afforded a one-design start.

In the event that ANY class should field enough boats, and there is an express interest, then a “B” fleet for that class will also be started and scored.

All other registrants will be started as an open class and scored using the Portsmouth Yardstick Handicap Rules.
Scoring:   The low point scoring system will be used.
Insurance:   All competitors must carry liability insurance of at least $100,000.
